Hi guys, hope you doing awsome. First time posting anything, so sorry if this is in the wrong place.
Got the galaxy tab 10.1 on that fnb special. It works great, but for some apparent reason it wont download anything from the android market. It wont even update to the google play store. It's stuck on downloading the whole time for at least 15/20 minutes and gives me a (495) error eventually. I've got a prepaid mtn sim in, with 2 gig data bundle (R189).
The weird thing though, when i use my cell c sim card (contract) in it, the apps download great. It's just with mtn.
Things i've tried to fix it:
1. Clear the data and cache of the market, market downloaders, market updater etc... And reboot
2. Downloaded latest apk file of google play store and installed that
3. Used cellc sim to update evrything to latest version including apps and appstore and clearing data and cache and rebooting
4. Tried different google account
5. Tried a differnt mtn sim card
6. Did a factory reset
7. Changed settings on my phone eg, account and apps etc ( incase it might be in conflict with my phone)
It might be worth noting that i use to connect to the internet with my phone via mobile access point and wifi at first.
Did this happen to anybody else? Is there a way to fix this? Or is it a problem with the network?
Thanks for the help
Ciao
