My MTNChoice packages and roaming

Hi. I am still on an old Anytime 350 package and going to move to a My MTNChoice package. I need roaming as I travel a lot (I know it is expensive). Will both the My MTNChoice and MTNChoice Top-up packages give me the same roaming partners? I know that there are just a few roaming partners available when on prepaid. Does the My MTNChoice TOP-UP fall under prepaid or will I get the full roaming partners?

And another question: Will I lose my accumulated airtime from the Anytime package when moving over to the My MTNChoice package?

Would be nice if anyone have experienced any of this as the stores and 808 are usually clueless.

Can't really speak for roaming partners on the packages, but I do know that i was on an anytime 300 package and they converted me to a choice package... I had to reapply to have roaming turned on - as somewhere along the upgrade way they turned it off...

As for "unused" airtime and data - yeah, you pretty much get shafted and lose it all (I did) so use it or lose it...

You will move if you are seen to "Downgrade" your AnyTime to a lower myChoice contract, well that is what the person on the support canter told me.

I was on a AnyTime 200 which is around 86 minutes at the R2.30 per minute charge, so they said as long as I move to a MyChoice 100 or above it should fine. So Anytime 350 would probably be MyChoice 200 or higher equivalent.

Roaming works the same on the contracts, just make sure it is enabled again.
