I seriously think there's something wrong with Legend 6600GT's, this is the second one that's died on me within a space of three months. :(

If anyone has a broken 6600GT not under warrenty anymore, you can buy a Biostar nVidia GeForce7600GS Graphics Card - PCIeX, 256Mb DDR2 128-Bit, DVI, TV-Out- from me for the low low price of R1000.

Well I think I got my words mixed up, by shipping I'm saying courier service etc. not overseas shipping, my apology :)

Go to your local PO - Speed Services - I have never had hassels with them - charge around R40 for next day delivery if you post before a certain time - varies from PO to PO. They do counter to counter, counter to door and door to door - prices differ.

moral of the story.. rather stay away from legend
ANY manuf. can have a part that's dead out of the box, that's not the problem here. What IS a lot more important is how they handle failures ..and, admittedly only once, having met a rep. from Legend, they seem as good as any of the decent ones and definitely better than some!

While not a bad idea to use Speed Services, I balk at the idea of going to the P.O. ..so I do counter to counter at PostNet, who end up using SS anyway - and saves me the misery of having to deal with P.O. staff!

It's got nothing to do with the card itself (ie. 6600GT) but the manufacture making it IMO.

Might be, thing that i'm just scared of is that it might be my computer fscking the cards up
