If memory serves me right, I only had "Source" option available when watching your stream. That alone makes a huge difference on my side as I'm unable to watch at "source" quality without getting lag spikes as my internet connection can't handle it.

Can you change the "quality" to allow for source, high, medium and low options, or are you limited by twitch for having to few followers?

Think you have to have over 100 viewers i think but im not sure at all

Hi all,

I've got great news, today, I went into a "partnership" with RSAWEB and have an upgraded line - so earlier, I did a stream 'test' playing Division and it seems to be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better.
Please consider checking out, and following me on Twitch! :)

I'm actually going to stream some "Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta" shortly.

Comments and suggestions etc are always welcome as per usual - remember to follow and donate if you want :) haha.

So I tested the new upgrade last night and went from 19% average dropped frames to 4% - however; after playing with the settings, this morning I managed to get it to 0.4% drop rate and even at one point - was 0.0% for a good hour or so but it went back up to 0.4% but I had comments from friends saying that it was border line perfect with the occasional 'stutter' here and there (I guess it's when there is a dropped frame)

Thanks for the guys who are / have followed me and given me feedback - Streaming as we all know is not exactly MASSIVE in ZA but it's going to start getting better/bigger and I am a fan of it, especially when people interact.

I had 1 buddy who had DIV but hated it but after watching me and I'm talking about the stuff - he started to understand and now enjoys playing it - so if I can help doing that - it's a win either way! :)

So I just got a item "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition" on my wishlist fulfilled by a user of the name "Mikky8765mybb" but I've searched "MyBroadband" for the user "Mikky8765" and doesn't exist - whomever you are! THANK YOU!

Busy downloading it, I'll be streaming some "Modern Warfare Remastered" :D :D :D :D

I watched when you played "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition, was entertaining.

I'll play some BF1 with you if you ever decide to go that route.

Thanks Purply, I saw that :) I want BF1 but finances don't allow for it yet, but when I do get it, I'll gladly join you.

Edit: It is on my wishlist BTW

I'm currently unable to stream for a bit - there is issues - I'm busy chatting with RSAWEB - I went from minimal frame drop rate to massive 50% + :(
I know we had a cable break yesterday in my area but it was happening before that. Anyways... patiently waiting! :)

Well done for doing it. I've always wanted to start a YouTube channel but I've always had excuses not to do it. To be fair, I do have crappy upload speed and a lack of a decent mic.

Hi all,

So - it seems that RSAWEB have indirectly said that TWITCH'ing is not really possible or at least, they can't really guarentee the quality of my streams because of the fact that TWITCH hosts all their services overseas.
They have suggested I start streaming on YOUTUBE because YouTube has local servers available.
Now, this irritated me because a couple of days ago, Twitch was working, but the quality was up and down - so I came home, pushed up my quality in OBS from 1500 to 3000 "bitrate" and then changed the "common FPS values" from 30 to 48.

I did a test stream earlier and according to my GF, it was perfect with those settings.
So on Youtube you can select 720p HD.

I'm going to do some testing shortly - I'd really like it if I can get a massive ZA audience tonight and comments, chat etc - please post what your experience is like, also what connection speed you using etc.

Let's see how this goes tonight.

Streaming was flawless on youtube, did 720p without any issues.

Your mic needs a bit of attention though, it crackles at times when you talk to loud.

I asked him to watch the stream back once it has processed to YouTube, I think the gain is too high, I gave him a part he can easily scroll to and hear.

I'm going to check it out and see what the issue is, maybe you right, maybe it's the gain - but I just need the processing to be sorted.

How about some BF1?

I want this! trust me.

It's on his wishlist

Donation welcome

Oh yes, pretty please! :)

I'm gonna try do this tomorrow as I'm hitting the sack now - but I believe we are not going to have power the whole of tomorrow (8am to 5pm) as the council is working on our substation - but I promise I will check it out.

I appreciate all the feedback guys!

On a side note, I had some major pc lag issues last night. At first I thought it's due to watching youtube at 720p, but then I looked at my task manager and notice the weirdest thing.

There was a Dota 2 .dll file using 100% of my hdd, which is very peculiar considering I haven't opened Steam and it wasn't running in the background.

Upon further investigation I noticed a few more .dll dota 2 files running, using internet bandwidth.

Needless to say I was tired and decided to go sleep instead of trying to solve that mystery.

Think I might just format my pc this weekend, probably the easiest way to solving windows 10 related problems.
