even the darn treasure bandit is a farce i tell you!!! bugger drops a bunch of crap all the time, and the trouble i go through to kill him i wonder if its worth it some times but i do in the hope the he has been put in the game for a reason lol, always seems to run toward a pack of blues that pawn me lol.

I think putting a level cap on the game ruined it for lots of people. Running act 1 of inferno for upgrades for weeks on end with nothing to show for it has sapped all the energy I have for D3.

This. In DII the last 5 levels were what the "pros" were playing for.

You shuld try GW2.

Ive said this from day one. Blizzard created a profit machine, by forcing people to use the RMAH to progress in the game

I would actually like to see how much blizzard has made off the RMAH.

A little off topic but the way i handle goblins where i am now is the moment i see one i dismiss my companion (she will always attack it when there are no other mobs around) and clear a good circle around the goblin. For me they dont seem to notice im there even when im close. Then just circle around so you're facing the way you came that you know is clean and attack the goblin semi viewing the edge so it doesnt run back inland (so to speak), but hugs the edges. Then just keep up and dps your heart out.

I don't really think you have a leg to stand on due to your lack of experience in the game. Try finishing inferno with a toon and bring 1 or 2 more into at least Act 3 and then we'll talk.

At the start I really did not want to count on the AH or use it that much, but it became painfully obvious that that you can't get anywhere except Act 1, maybe a bit of Act 2 without making extensive use of it.

Act 1 before and after 1.0.3 was and is a joke in regard to difficulty & Act 2 is a joke vs Act 3/4 (granted they are now 40% easier than pre-patch)
Also remember some classes have it way easier than others and are not as gear dependent.

Fair enough. Yet you cant really say i lack 'experience' per se since ive cleared all the way into Act 1 and after vigourous farming i think ive seen just about every affix combo there can be, the only thing i havent yet is the type of mob that make up the pack. Though not having done that yet gives me alot more to look forwards to also and should keep me busy for quite a while, hence.

This for sure. While most went the Barb / Monk route i probly made life for me a little tougher going DH and not nearly having enough IAS on my geardrops to actually 'farm' - i mostly tried to survive. Post patch it was even worse, yet with persistance ive gotten to a point where im actually progressing well, and could mayb do Act 2 if i wanted. Have cleared up to Belial solo, but not yet at the point where i can say i can -farm- it.

Lol guys :) throw a dagger between you guys and watch you fight to the death?

I'm not planning to delete my toons and game or stop playing totally. I'm still hoping patches or x-packs changes the game as it did D2

I only have one level 60 (Monk) and made it as far as the start of act II which is insane btw. At this point the one thing that's supposed to motivate me to keep playing - item drops is just not giving me any real reward. Three Buthcer runs later and I haven't found one decent item is not going to help motivate you to keep trying.

Never mind the fact that all the items are so damn bland. Like a stat on a legendary item that has a 20% chance to spurt out an AoE lightning attack that does 110% dmg would make for a more interesting stat than 192vit. Right now it's all about stupid base stats.

I feel like I am beginning to reach the end of my tether with this game, so I will only be playing until either Torchlight II or Guild Wars 2 is out.

I've stopped playing intensely. I'll check my items on the AH every night though. D3 has become too much of a 2nd job and chore (farming etc...hate farming) and I've got more than enough stress at my current place of employment.

I'll play now and then with friends but to be honest I think that I've wasted 500 bucks.

Every game reaches the point where it becomes boring. Some games after a couple of hours.

Not really bud, playing and farming Act 1 vs going through everything needed to finish Inferno and then farming Act 3 is a very very different story.
Farming Act 1 is actually not that bad. Its relative fun and its very easy, even thou u do not get many decent things (thou probly still better than the other acts imo)

I'm glad you are still enjoying it. I badly wish I was still that positive. Lets talk about when you've done a few hundred farming runs in Act 3 :)

Same here. I reached act2 inferno and then realized that it honestly wasn't fun anymore or about skill. You HAD to farm items to progress. Farmed 2 days without any useful drops and then proceeded to uninstall. Gave my account to some russian kid on the forum that begged for a buddy invite :D

I'll think long and hard before splashing out money on a blizzard game again.

I gave up last night as well. As my 3rd toon entered inferno I thought do I really wanna sit here and farm the same act over and over again?

Reativated my wow account :)

When diablo gets updated I will play. For now I am looking forward to WOW patch 5.0 which is around the corner

Played 2 characters to level 60, and to a point where I need better gear to progress, but don`t have the money.

I`d rather start another character and enjoy the game in a little different way than run through the same dungeon over and over again. At this stage i`m not really in the mood for either though.

I noticed that when D3 was released, all the people I played BF3 with were nowhere to be seen. They went from playing BF3 everyday, to maybe once a week. Since about a week and a half ago, they're back to playing BF3 everyday. I'm not complaining though haha :)

I'm at work at the moment:)but I guess more than 100? Use to play for about 4 hours a day during the week and about 2 hours a weekend since the release.

I found myself looking at the price of GW2 this morning, and thinking if i should buy it now or wait a little bit and see if the CE will be available locally for a decent price.

So guess i'm also getting tired of doing the same thing over & over again just to either find no usefull gear for myself at all, or looking at the AH and then my gold purse and thinking "i need only 10 mil more to buy that helm i need to help me get past that wall that is Act3"

I'll probably keep on playing until GW2 or Torchlight II release, then go play them for a while.

And don't forget Borderlands 2 in September either .. lol
