My WIFI connection hangs saying "Unidentified"

Hi, I can’t connect to the WIFI in the Office with my Acer Laptop. It hangs saying identifying when connecting automatically. When I manually insert the DNS IP address it connects saying unidentified ( but will not connect to the Internet ) There is not a prob with the Internet as my phone connects to the wifi.

Hi There,
I have found that some router and pc combinations are tricky. Why not ask if you can have an IP address reserved for you based on the MAC address of your wifi. O have used that before to get connectivity working.
