I had the same problem this weekend.
Got to 88, bought 2 HB maps then I was stupid & ran uber lab.
Died due to lag spikes.
At least made a profit off some drops.

Trying to get my helm enchant now for 40% cyclone dmg.
bought a few Twice Enchanted prophecies.

My latency issues started Sunday afternoon. Approximately at 15h00.

This is why I don't like lab runs. You go trough traps and then when you look you on top of it.
Couple of seconds before you were past them.

Morning

I ended up to 30%XP this morning.

With all the HB map runs Taste of Hate dropped for me and this morning 1Ex. Then also Ex-Shards let me gain 4 more Ex.

I can sustain HB maps, get enough currency to make HB maps.

I just bought 100 HB Orbs for 500C. I will see how many maps can I create with my HB Orbs.
As soon I see latency swings I quit. One death is enough. There is lots of time to achieve level 100.

Better to just stay out of the fight and play safe instead of giving away your maps. i.e. if the other party members can carry the extra weight. I used to do that way back when I had crappy internet but had people that I mapped with regularly. They carried me in those times where I was lagging.

The crappy part is I'm standing still off-screen were the fight is happening. Then when I look again I'm on top of all the commotion without moving from my previous position.
Flask are not going to help. Your ES is gone and 3k life left. Boom you are gone. If I still had control of my character I would have survived.(10%XP gone meaning = approx. 2*6 map rotation)

I appreciate DC from game then getting killed. Not by my doing.

Taking it slow to get to level 100. If playing is ok no latency movement I will keep on playing.

Re rolling for the last time this league, going to try a Windripper MF build. I made some unreal ventors and a 100/135 Bisco's.

Trying MF on my Wander, so far its ok, does anyone know if going Windripper makes that big of an impact?

Personally I think it depends on how well a windripper can perform vs the wander. So for instance, if you can easily farm T15 maps with Windripper and still get freeze and shocks going on 90% of the mobs, then I say go Windripper. It doesn't make a massive difference, but 15% quant is still difficult to find. Especially unconditional quant. So 15% will almost double the bonus quant you already have from 2x ventor's. 15% will not be felt that much on white mobs with your Bisco's, but vs blue packs especially, it should work out well.

It probably averages down to about 2 extra items per blue pack. Combined with the bisco's rarity mod on blues and all the other rarity that you have. 2 extra items per blue pack, as long as you are still able to farm at a fast pace, will be significant at the end of an hour.

I traded in 8 cards for a Oba's Cursed Trove.
During the run an exalted orb dropped, that's my 2nd this league.
Bloody hard map though esp with harbingers spawning inbetween the level shifts.

With all the HB map runs I saw only 2 times Mirror shards drop. Was not for me.

I now running Vault maps.

1) Two" Abandon Wealth" divination cards dropped.
2) Thirteen "Hoarder" divination card dropped.

So this is what I'm currently farming.

Now I can get back to playing other games.
New Grim Dawn expansion coming out on the 11th of oct.

Otherwise I'll be back in POE in december with the new league.
Prolly gonna play chaos glacial cascade when it lands. Unless they add some new skills that interest me.
