It already looks clunky. What if you are SRS or Spectres? They won't stop attacking to let you catch the monster, you will have to be really good at throwing pokeballs.
Nope Bex has already said that as long as you throw the net before the monster dies it doesn't matter, so throw net, instagib mob, profit.
RIP Tornado Shot and Kinetic Blastcan't be throwing nets 3 screens in advance (not that I've watched any vids, I've no idea of the mechanics yet)
Guess it is about time I play something else![]()
Like what, cyclone perhapsThen all you've done is rotate through the tree - first raider, then slayer, now perhaps chieftain time!
I'm pretty keen on the spectral shield skill.
It seems like it'll be pretty strong. Just wonder if they'll force you to use a weapon (as its technically a shield skill.)
Which would open up facebreakers, but even if you need a weapon, you could roll some heavy evasion dreamfeather build with a nice 1800eva shield. Grab all shield defence nodes to buff the dmg, and you're good to go
Or at least this is what I'm thinking so far... Guess I gotta wait till the league lands before I go into full planning mode![]()
It won't work unarmed
It only takes the affixes on the shield itself, not the buffed values after all your passives
Is this game still viable?
I tried it about 4 years ago and just could not get into it.
Part of the issue for me was the learning curve and research required to to not spend points into junk skill paths.
I would like to get into the game again.
Some questions:
Is this game P2W in any way?
What is their current revenue model?
The game has always been viable, you just suck at it.
LOL, glad you got that out of your system. Any constructive comments?
Our area got fiber at least, I want to go back to failed experiments of the past.

The only purchasable thing that confers a 'gameplay advantage' (and that it can be termed as such is debatable) are premium stash tabs, which enable you to index items for sale from within the game (to other players via sites like poe.trade, etc). There are other stash tabs to store maps and currency items, etc, which are useful, but none of these are necessary.
Their revenue model, other than this, is entirely predicated on various cosmetic microtransactions.
The learning curve is far more now than it was 4 years ago, since they've added much content since then, obviously. There is an in-game help system now though, which should be very helpful to new players. I also cannot recommend strongly enough simply following a build guide for at least your first playthrough.
Thanks for the reply! Exactly what I was looking for.
Any guild you can recommend for a returning new player?
Part of my failed experiment was winging it and trying the in-game chat for help, which was only somewhat successful.
