I did try it, but I'm finding more value in Grim Dawn, which has also seen an expansion fairly recently, and is updated and balanced often. Loved Titan quest back in the day, the Grim Dawn team are previous Iron Lore guys, and it uses the same engine (albeit updated).

Yeah I played through Grim Dawn a few times already with the expansion. The main thing I like about Titan Quest is the lore. It's from all the old story books that we used to read as kids put together in a game. Whereas the lore in most other games is just something new made up from scratch.

Hmmm...
Juggernaut, assassin, trickster, deadeye, occultist or slayer... Too many choices!! I think I'll wait for the popular streamers to release their builds and then do whatever they don't :p

Deadeye looks awesome, thinking of trying something with that, not sure what yet.

I approve of this way of playing! :D

I definitely want to try tectonic strike Juggernaut as well. But not sure if I want to start with that, or with my Deadeye spectral shield.
Choices man... choices.

Morning

My feeling currently "the skill tree is going be the same as previous league".
Other wise it should have been released by now. Previous league it was out few days before the league started. :D It seems major changes on Ascendant only and others. (Chieftain, Berserker, etc)
There are few changes taking place in the gems department.

Am I correct in saying that the most resists you can lose to map mods is -20%? And that mobs that curse you deduct another 20%? I'm trying to not go overkill on resists like I normally do and am looking to assign a set amount of resists to specific slots given the end game gear I'll aim for

This whole time I had misread the release date as 12 March! What a surprise, haha!

As far as I remember you should aim for 109% after act 10. Cannot remember exactly how I got to that number but that is what I found online.

Perfect thanks. I'm going to ignore the additional curse, think I'd rather build curse immunity into one of my potions.

Really? When did they buff that up? The old number in hideout used to be 169% for resist cap. That was taking into account the old merciless debuff which was not active in your hideout, which was -60%. So 109% while in merc difficulty.

As far as I was aware, when they reworked the 10 acts model, they did not change anything that would have affected the resist cap. So 109% now with the -60% applying globally at all times.
I am genuinely confused here.

Elemental Weakness from Red maps is Lv15 (-34%). So after beating act10 eventually aim for 109% in brackets.
Monsters can then still apply Frostbite/Conductivity/Flammability which will further reduce your resistance to the specific element. I do not see any specific level noted in the wiki, but expect it to be another -30%~-40%.
A curse removal flask is tops, I would always recommend one.

SoulTax : They set it so the -60% is now removed from the brackets on the defense tab. So you do not have to hit 135% / 169% in brackets. You still have to get those numbers, but the brackets are now also reduced once you go past act5/act10 so after act10 if you see 75% in your defense tab you are sorted.
