/connedLooking forward to exilecon this weekend. Going to be watching quin69 streams and I'm confident Poe2 will be a better game than d4.

It was special to have Kripp do the intro, POE2 looks very special, it's also cool to see some legendary D2 devs in the fold as well.Looking forward to exilecon this weekend. Going to be watching quin69 streams and I'm confident Poe2 will be a better game than d4.
Thank you for your service o7, sincerely, I know it takes a moerse amount of patience and effort to get publishers to notice us, it's a wonderful experience to have a local server. Hopefully this locks us in for day 1 hosting with POE2 as well, next year.It took years of begging.
And will probably be carried by 8 people for the next year and half.It was special to have Kripp do the intro, POE2 looks very special, it's also cool to see some legendary D2 devs in the fold as well.
I can't believe POE1 has been carried by 8 people this past year and a half, insane.
In an ideal world, we will be able to bounce between POE 1 leagues + POE 2 leagues continuously. And will probably be carried by 8 people for the next year and half.
If they were able to do that it makes sense why they decided to not end POE1. I'm really curious to see how that decision pans out in a couple years.
POE2 looks like it's going to stomp over every ARPG ever made or in the works. It was special to have Kripp do the intro, POE2 looks very special, it's also cool to see some legendary D2 devs in the fold as well.
Unsure, when I look at this it seems to be dumbed down to a degree? It was special to have Kripp do the intro, POE2 looks very special, it's also cool to see some legendary D2 devs in the fold as well.

Yeah, I have a feeling it's going to be special.POE2 looks like it's going to stomp over every ARPG ever made or in the works.
New benchmark.
I'll add:After finishing Act 1, I want to do a public service advisory:
If you paid for D4, and haven't played free POE, don't. We have enough anger issues in the world already.
Hi, have you tried changing your graphics render settings maybe to vulkan or dx12?Hi all. I've recently started played PoE, committed to put in a more serious effort than in the past (cancelled the WoW sub, so now I have a lot more time to invest into something complicated, and D4's repetitiveness and LE's stability and performance issues made me move on quickly).
It's awesome that we have a local server, but I have some weird things happening in the game at times and was wondering if anyone has the same problems. Around 50% of the time, when transitioning to a new area (either through waypoint or portal), my game's latency would constantly spike 200-400ms and back down. The ping graph looks like jagged mountains. I'd have to basically rezone and hope it fixes it (95% of the time it does), then back down to 20ms (this means I lose a portal immediately on a map).
There are also lag spikes when I hit an enemy with an attack, or when some mechanics/events occur. I've died so many times due to this, and it's making me quite irate. The most annoying one was the pirate commandeered my ship, so went to fight him. When he spawned his waves the first time, I got lag spikes, pushed into the watery wall thingies and died. Good bye 2mil load and all my expensive sailors. I swore a lot. A lot.
It seems the game has its own poorly optimised code issues? Or is it our local server? Is it my ISP? Is it my brain? Have I played too much PoE and am losing the plot? The only thing I can think of to do now is to play maybe D4 and see if I have similar issues with lag spikes... but then I have to play D4 again.
