MyBB Path of Exile Intro, FAQ, Chat and Players

Anyone manage to get onto a south african server instance? Keep getting put on Frankfurt.

Oof, guess they're spinning them up in order of preference, we're in the rear as usual.
But at least now 3 hours after launch people are at least getting in.
 
When I check the latency in-game, it says ~160-180ms constantly. Shouldn't it be lower, like ~20ms of PoE1?

It should, if you press tab op left would show if you are on SA servers but seems like they are dead or full

I'm not sure how that works. I can't seem to search for it, and I can make my own MyBB lol.

Been playing for about 4 hours.

1. This is not POE 1. Can see why they call it Souls like for ARPG.
2. Minion master is def not a good idea, well esp 1st 10 levels I played so far. Minions get one shotted by anything thats not trash and thats with Increased HP path instead of damage. So end up killing bosses by myself with wasted points into minions.
3. Xbox has a tendency to crash once in a while esp when traversing maps.
3. Not all cosmetics are supported yet, so can see this is a work in progress.

Bar all that, still having fun. Not going to play this all the time but will do a slow progress and plan is to play all the classes to 20 then see what I will use as a main.

Hah yeah the minions start quite slow. What helps though is once you get a support gem then you can boost the warrior's hp by 50% I think, also if you get the skills to level 2 they become a lot better.

Skill wise I added the ice explosion thing, its what's doing the main damage for me.
 
I like it when my minions die :)

I've gone the route of having them explode on low life coupled with the contagion thing.

About 6h in I'd say, just killed Lachlann.

This game feels incredible! Hype is justified, glad it's not like POE1 cause honestly, a 'souls like' ARPG on this scale is quite unique imo

Just got him as well.

Sadly I have to confess took me 3 tries. Really need to relook at my minions. They friken useless. :)
