I think I am done with this league. The last 2 weeks or so I have been reminded that this is indeed a difficult game, as it was designed. I don't play a lot, but at this stage I can reasonably comfortably get to the maps stage at least up to about level 8 or 9. To go higher than that requires a lot of effort and time invested in the game to master it. That is the way it was designed, they didn't want everybody to easily finish the end game content. Next league I will definitely play a Juggernaut, and see if I can survive a bit better.

Yet there are many people who feel the game is easy mode these days. This is the first league where I was able to fairly comfortably run high-tier maps. I would tend to agree with you RE the difficulty. Or perhaps we just suck at the game, hehe.

Lol, I am definitely only an average player (even though I would like to be good). I just don't have the time or patience to get to the top level. I mostly play games to experience the story, not the grinding aspect or being the best. This is still an awesome game (especially since it is free). But it is supposed to be hard (not D3....) so I cannot complain about not being able to get to Uber Atziri or whatever. That is also the reality with MMO's, if everyone gets to the top level it destroys the value of all items in the game. Even with WoW (when I still played), you needed a group of dedicated players to clear end game raids and get the best gear.

That is the plan for the next one. I have always played spellcasters in all games, so that is what I started with. Although, in POE they are not the easiest class.

Did run last night another Pale council run, reward was a sceptre.
It seems when I received the bow the last member to fall was bottom right hand side. This time around it was towards the middle.
I have two more keys not a complete set.

It is RNG who is determining what you get from completing Pale Council. The item which drops is determined by the last member of the council killed, however there is no way to determine the order of killing them, as it seems that this is predetermined. Breath of the Council is not to bad though, as it should be quite good for chaos builds like essence drain

Did a small run this morning.
One of the Prophecies triggered needed to run the Belly of the Beast lvl. 1 or 2.
Armour dropped from the prophecy Full Wyrmscale. Near perfect rolls. Armour 199 out of to 200.
Think this is my 3rd Belly of the Beast item. It shows what RNG can do. The other two stats are not that hot.


Next season think I need to run same type of Char again, though.

No, not yet. I have to make a plan to 6-link Bow as well Full Wyrmscale armour.

I have the cash on hands to buy fuses.

I bought for 13ex fuse-links.
Did my Armour for less then a 100. This so far is the lowest for me.
The switched over to Bow and wasted 600 fuses-links. Before I decided do the 1500 fuse-link through the table.

So that is my story. I have a feeling weapons are of a different calliper. I chickened when I saw I used already over 600 fuse-links. Was not going to mess with RNG.

What process did you follow to 6link the armour? Did you first 20 quality it?

I read that doing that increases the chance to role higher values. Not sure go true it is as you can't believe everything you read.

Will PlAy again on the weekend and hopefully get the armour 6 linked.

This is the norm to take weapon or armour to max. quality. Talking 6-link material.

Nope, Kinda just winged it with help from people in this thread and from reddit.

The EQ Juggernaut is all about HP Regen and Endurance charges. Good armour and max HP are necessary to scale those defenses. Make sure to get Resolute Technique and some Two hander damage nodes as you cruise around the tree.

It is a really easy build to build though. Get all 3 endurance charges from the tree. Look at all the HP regen nodes near to and on the way to those Endurance charges. Any two hander nodes that are non-dead-end branches are the ones to pickup. IE, like those nodes in the Dualist area "Destroyer" cluster. Which takes you from Master of the Arena to the Endurance charge and Golem's Blood.

I am sure you can see the EQ/Juggernaut guides though. It wont change much at all for the next league.

I've been playing Grim Dawn over the last two weeks for the first time. Around 60 hours or so put in with several different builds. Builds are way less complex with fewer customization options compared to POE. There are not many skills and the graphic animations aren't that great. However, it's offline and yesterday I stumbled upon a character editor which can be used to twink my characters to the max with perfect items. So it will be fun for a little while more. Summoner seems so OP when you have the best prefix and suffix on every item for your level. It is possible to get the same items within the game by quitting/reloading and checking the shops so it's technically just time saving instead of cheating with unobtainable stuff.

Path of Exile wins in terms of gameplay, customization, etc.
