Good point. Will drop Faster casting for chaos damage.

Try drop it the other way around. Drop Echo for Chaos damage. Especially once you have vaal haste. You will max stack quite easily with faster casting alone, and that way you dont sacrifice the 10% Less Dmg. As well as it gives you a good amount of flexibility in your movement, because you never get animation locked for too long.

As Archer said. having more damage per stack means that you need less stacks to do the same thing. Trash will require 6 stacks instead of 10 for instance. And still managing to reach max stacks when it matters will mean that your top end dmg is much higher than it would otherwise be.

Quick question for those more adept at currency management than myself..... which will pretty much be anyone really.
I currently have 6 hard chaos, 50 chance, 30 alch 2 regal and an exalt that dropped recently.

Things that I still need to buy for my build:
Decent 5link chest armour (Still on Tabula)
Path of Kings prophecy to create my Kaom's way ring.
Voidheart ring (Practically all my current currency for an acceptable one. about 2 exalts for one that I would feel better about in the long run)
General upgrades to all of my gear. Most of the items cost me 1 chaos. But I need to upgrade everything so that I am at a point where I can use 3 non resist pieces of jewelry (The Anvil, Kaom's, Voidheart). Currently my two rings offer some life and resists. So this would need to be made up in my chest armour and general upgrades.

So the sensible thing to do would be to get everything except the voidheart ring. So upgrade the rest of my gear with that one exalt. And then build currency for a few days or whatever to afford a decent voidheart.

Should I sell my Exalt off for a bunch of Chaos Orbs? I have never actually sold an exalt before, so it feels strange. Like worried about getting ripped off. Current trade seems to put it at 69 chaos or so. You guys reckon this is fair, and the way to go?

Do you have Kaom's way or Kaom's sign?
Kaom's sign is the non upgraded one. Nothing special.
Kaom's way has 0.4% life regen per endurance charge. Which is pretty OP with lots of Charges.

I will have 8 with the ring, so 3.2% life regen. Should bump me up to about 750 or so.

Buy a white 5L for 1c, use essences to get relevant mods.
Heck, maybe get whites of everything and just spam existing essences and see where you get lucky. I would just do the chest though, but it'll be tricky since you need resists there too. I almost always try keep my chest resist free, and use a ring slot for 120 total resists.

edit: and 1c gear has carried me many a time into about T6 maps

Ye my current gear is just fine for early maps. I am capped resist and 4.5k life, 4.2k armour and 1.3k evasion, with 66% block chance. All with a tabula equipped. I am just thinking of the longer game here. Where I am about to drop at least one of my rings for the Kaom's. And somewhere in the level 80+ range I will drop the other one for the Voidheart.... Possibly. Voidheart and Kaom's might be my interchangeable slots, and I keep a resist ring, depending on the map mods and stuff.
I want to get a little more optimised gear than essence spamming will reliably get me.

I will still have bleed chance from my Uuber lab points, so Voidheart is really just about taking my bleed chance from about 33% up to closer to 83%. Along with the poison addition.
So it will be a dps boost for sure, but not completely missed when not equipped.

Well bois we did it! my character is finally a beast

Ran my normal and merciless labs last night, dam those points helped! Rolled a grounding basalt flask to deal with the shock from vessel. I bought a essence worm and moved my hatred there. I skilled Mind over matter and with my 1.5k mana this helps a tonne. Also bought a near perfect clear mind gem for 5c Setup my vaal haste setup.

I ran t10's twinned with howto, easy peasy.
Ran a t9 with ele weakness and vulnerability and beyond this morning, easy peasy.

So what happened 1 Ex . ,dropped for me. I'm delighted, first one this league.

Loots of things still to do, gear wise. So now you know were currency is going to disappear.

At least gems are progressing nicely. By this afternoon it should be level 15 plus.
I also did run out of gem cutter gems. Even my quality gems are depleted.

I have not spend that much think 75C on gear. This is to bring resist in line.
I bought a weapon , also Head gear to get movement speed. (Weapon I'm using currently dropped for me)
Hands dropped for me.
The odd and sods rings etc.

So this afternoon running Dried Lake to up my gems.

Made a bugger up with my masters.
Ereon is on level 7. Others were close behind.

Now I wanted to level him up. To get more master on board.

Now the funny part was I dismissed all my master.
Meaning all my points were lost. Bubo of Master proportions. :wtf:
