MyBroadband 10 year Gauteng birthday lunch

I would like to thank all the forum members who joined us for the Gauteng MyBroadband birthday lunch today. It was good fun.

It was great to put faces to many forum names, and this event reaffirmed that MyBroadband’s members are really pleasant and smart people.

I hope the Cape Town event tonight is just as enjoyable!

Was great to meet a lot of the guys! Food was awesome. Fantastic venue. Weather was great. Thanks for the free everything, didn't even have to pay for our drinks. And thanks for the two free bottles of MyBB Merlot!

When I registered on myBB a few months ago, I did not expect to get hooked to the site so quickly. And then, when the opportunity to meet forumites in person presented itself in the form of the 10th Birthday bash I could not resist. So, my and Daan's special thanks to you all for a lovely party. The food was great, the venue splendid. Enjoyed it tremendously!
We had a wonderful time meeting some of the forumites and interacting with them. It's great to be able to put a face to the forum names.
And thanks a stack for the 'take away'! Much appreciated!
And to Rudolph et al, doe zo voort!

It was just such a nice time and although I did get to say to all there, it was wonderful to see some of the faces and personalities behind the forum names.

The CT event was awesome - nice and informal (no name tags - with its own pros and cons of course). I must say that the vibe and people were completely different to what I was expecting. Met a lot of pleasant folk that I clicked with instantly. Unfortunately I only got around to meeting a handful of everyone that managed to pitch in the end. Cannot wait to see the everyone-is-busy-on-their-phones posed photo...
