Not necessarily, only if they extracted all the unique names who posted and used that as a pool it would not help. But if they ignored spam posts but counted any other posts and then used post numbers to draw it would certainly make a difference.

By spam posts I mean all these one word gibberish and +1+2+2 sort of posts.
