MTN saying that there is a case for consolidation of mobile operators in SA. Directly in opposition to the statement this morning by Cell C.

MTN CEO trying to convince us that competition is bad

They always put him on after lunch. Maggies vol oogies toe. MTN needs to catch a wake up. Their slideshow is tl;dr so completely meaningless. One slide had four sub-slides. I mean FFS MTN - try not to rock us to sleep in the afternoon. Right now, I wanna rock MTN to sleep - with big, heavy, granite rocks.

Pity they don't allow you to pelt him with garbage :D

I disagree. He has a reasonable pov. Do not necessarily agree entirely, but should not be dismissed without some discussion.

What's going on with aircon - those fans are loud!!!

It was too hot in here this morning. Think they must have cranked it up. The guys in the exhibition hall were loud and distractive this morning. Sounded like a secondary school canteen

between commuting and streaming glitches pretty much missed the whole thing although I see there is a rather big thread on the use of "promo girls" and that congratulations are due to Gary.

Anyway I have some wonderful eye candy here in the swamp taking the form of the magnificent view of the Port of Port Elizabeth from the Elizabeth monument.

I don't see how this Vox campaign will ever be adopted, doesn't sound viable, especially considering that not every household has broadband connectivity, unless he trying to advocate for broadband connectivity?

This vox telecom guy is trying to put us to sleep. A lot of us have tuned out a bit

Hahaha, I lost interest - he should have just kept it "straight to the point" if you know what I mean...

Can we who missed it maybe order this years conference on DVD or something?

Thats what I would like too; even if the video is uploaded on YouTube or something for people who couldn't watch or the freezing made it hard to watch.

NEE!!!!!! I want it on DVD. I will even pay for the DVD .... but I dont want to use all my data streaming it on youtube ... besides .... on my connection it still buffers constantly and it irritates me. I really want to watch it though. This is the 1st one I missed after 3 consecutive conferences :-(
