MyBroadband downtime and slow loading

Thanks for the feedback. Hetzner is still working on some optimizations, so hopefully it will improve further.

It seems to be only "Today's posts" that is slow/doesn't respond. Navigating the forum seems fine.
This lets me think it is a db query issue and not a general performance problem.

yep just discovered the same thing, I managed to get one in earlier which I linked in my post prior to yours

I use the MyBroadband-Full-Screen theme as my default (in Chrome), and I've just noticed that I'm stuck in that view, can't change to any of the other themes. I just tried in FF and as soon as I switched to that theme FF got stuck as well.

allowing caching on the server will speed up loading of the website, by reducing the amount of connections to the DB...

We are still looking at it. It looks like the current caching system is messing with the automated theme selection.

Mmmm - just changed to MyBroadband default theme in Chrome and all seems well.
Able to see all of the formatting icons in Quick Reply and Advanced Options.

When you bring back that forum navigation <select> control, can you fix the "top" button next to it? It used to take me up one level in the forum hierarchy.

For example, if I was reading an article thread I found in ""current affairs", clicking top would take me back to the list of threads in "current affiars"
Last time I checked it take me to the top of the page instead.
