Hi there

We sit with a challenge with our current newsletters. We have multiple newsletters, and while some people complain that they do not get notifications about forum events (like competitions), others complain that they cannot easily unsubscribe from all newsletters.

To make things simpler we want to combine all newsletters with into a single, daily newsletter with one-click unsubscribe. This newsletter will have daily news, forum announcements and other information in it.

This should solve most problems (people can easily subscribe or unsubscribe, with all info in one place) – the biggest challenge is to design a newsletter where information does not get lost. We hope we can achieve this.

Your feedback on this will be great.

I would prefer separate newsletters. I would also prefer it if they arrived in my post box ...on thick, glossy paper.

Agree, and don't see the point anyway as BT and myBB share news a lot of times. I never visit myG so don't have anything on that I am only a casual gamer and look elsewhere for info.

Yeah had to confirm my unsubscription like thrice. And after the third time, I get an email telling me I've unsubscribed. I mean WTF, I don't want any more , I'm on MyBB 24/7.

Gaming is work unfriendly, I'd leave that out before evil admins decide to lump the whole thing under games and kill it for some of us.

I'm not sure if all competitions are now only announced in the newsletters, as i normally don't bother reading the letters as i have already read most of the new stories directly from this site (and some of the news is days old).

Games website needs to stay separate as work blocks all sites with any whiff of a URL which has games in it.

Consolidated Newsletter would be best, perhaps look at breaking the newsletter into 2-3 sections (probably 2 to avoid scrolling too much) MyBB/BT and games.

Legibility and easy of scanning through article headings to catch what might interest the potential reader would be key.
Perhaps look at reformatting it.
