My favourite would be Rassie and Siya's answer at last nights arrival presser when asked about us winning because our country needing it, referencing Prince Harry's and others' comments.

I don't know if that is what was meant but the narrative somewhere out there was that we won because we were motivated by the problems in the country, but Rassie's response was two fold: 50% that the whole team (including support staff) are good at what they do, that they worked hard, worked together, stuck to the plan, and executed the plan in its entirety, and the other 50% was due to the SA support and for the supporters .

The misleading narrative is that we won it because of what it means for the country to have this world cup win, that because of the pressures we have at home, because our captain went hungry as a young boy, that through that "pressure" and process we were able to attain the heights. Their message in last nights press conference started to change that narrative that it wasn't because of all of that, but despite that. That we don't need kids to go hungry for us to achieve the heights, or we don't need to go through that type of strife, but despite that and when we work together and get opportunities to do so then nothing can stand in the way of your success.
