Gone for the winter.

Taken just as we filled up fuel for a trip up the Bushmans river, it was almost unnatural how empty the place was especially if you ever seen the area during the summer holidays.

Canon 450D with 75-300mm. Was quite an odd sight seeing the birds standing on the water in the middle of the river. I would have loved to know why they just stood there, they didn't move even as we passed them with the 2 motors waking up the neighborhood.
