I still maintain that a good photographer can get a great shot, regardless of their camera.

Very true. As long as one understands the limitations of any tool, one can achieve acceptable, and even great results.
Sadly, many fall victim to the idea that "one needs a great instrument to obtain wonderful images", and thus often kill their creative spirit.
It's like telling a chef who prepared a tasty meal that they obviously have a great stove.

....... my camera only has 5x optical not enough to zoom in close to get nice shots unless I am almost on top of them.

Which is how others get great images of people being eaten by (say) a lion.

So you can see the photo of the tree/clouds (so that's the right way of doing it although it doesn't end in jpg. - sorry but on my pc I don't see any images unless I click on them (at work)

Yes, I see the tree.

There are two systems - the forum gallery, which requires people to dig out the actual jpg url, and then there are the albums which generate the exact VB code necessary to embed an image.
