Hey @Zoomzoom
We get it,you have a point to try prove
This is definitely not the way you'll be winning though
If you stretch this any further it'll literally snap from its own ridiculousness

Let me reiterate,if you in any way try to conflate more how misinformation(to the benefit of literally nobody) is equatable by some far stretch of "deceptive" activity to the mass looting the majority party in SA has found itself guilty of,you may as well rename yourself to Zoomloon

Saturnz: I rent my R1.8m house out for R15k, but don't ask questions as that's irrelevant.
Can you guys explain to us vaalies what the problem is? This house is 2bed house. Would it not go for 15K rent? Is 15K too less? too much?

I would say 15k is a fair rental for that property.

On one of the kakkest high traffic roads in the area?

Not a hell any sensible person should be paying that.

Maybe 12k at best.

Oh wait it’s two different links.

For the first link maybe. But people charging 16k for that Palmyra shithole are insane. Probably why it’s empty.

Yes, but I asked this in context to people objecting to what you charge rental so I didn't get the point. Are you charging too less in their opinion?

the point being that 15k rental on a R1.8m property is close to market rates, and 15k rental on a R4m property is well below market rates

According to google maps. You couldn't pay me to stay there, looks like a sh!thole, for 16K go buy yourself a small home in the northern suburbs.

As a vaalie, I must say I am missing some nuance here. Why is this sh!thole - is it perhaps related to community that stays here?

Snobs. Probably not enough trees or something.
Been checking few things and you could be right. "Palmyra Junction, a new mixed-use development in Claremont, Cape Town ". Although, I sensed a bit more than that considering a sh!thole comment. All shall be revealed in time no doubt.

It really does not look that great for what it is and being CT it's expensive for what you get but hey you got the mountain.

Okay after looking at the Gumtree ad. I won't pay R5k for that. Cape town people must be dispirite, the struggle is real.
And no way any sane person will pay millions for it.

I Had a friend move down there a few months ago.
Hipsters and people that copmute by bus or scooter are living in that area. He showed me the same types of places. Some don't even have proper kitchens.
If you want to be real hip find a place in woodstock.

Its a diffrent world down there.
I think they all drink too much wine. But hey I have seen places in somerset that I can do with. ( Hide from the wind and hipsters?

somerset west is like 40m away from CT CBD, its a stretch to say you are living in CT if you live in somerset west
