Maybe this "subbed" card is just a myth...Best is to get a FTA receiver and hack the nagravision or conax codes if at all possible.
/methinks Now....where would one buy one of these receivers

Good luck with that... Nagravision maybe, if you know what you are doing. You used to get patches on the FTA receivers for the Nagravision encrypted channels on Telstar 12 etc, but those patches don't work anymore AFAIK.

Conax has to have an active smartcard, like the Irdeto that Multichoice uses.

:D

That is what I meant. I actually know very little about those. At work, I loathe the enquiries about the FTA decoders and the patches etc. It is normally guys expecting loads of your time for nothing... I normally just pass the buck.

Subbed card

Guys - a subbed card is a LEGAL SUBSCRIBED Card

I bought 4 already - pop it into my dreambox and all's good.

You can actually buy the MyTV decoder plus a card.

The same goes for PTV - pron TV - (just need another dish - or reposition DSTV dish)

You can buy a PTV card direct from PTV UK....

There is life after em cee

***** SORRY guys - my bad - I bought it from SPACE TV in Woodstock - ask Amelia for MyTV card.

It is a legal sub, but not supposed to be used in South Africa. Space TV does not sell MyTV cards... You were one of the lucky ones.

They were back 2 days ago. Again they displayed the E45 error.
MyTV is available free on the bouquet though, but it's worse that LTV! It plays advertisments 95% of times, all MyTv versions.

SpaceTV has the right for Swaziland and Africa - excluding our monopolized country.

Ask nicely and you may be surprised , else get someone in neighboring countries to buy you a card, if you that desperate.

Asking nicely won't help. I should know. I work there...

Anywhere else where we might find a legal supplier of the MyTV cards?
Also, I noted the past few days that there were a few test channels on the normal bouquet as well as the public bouquet that were showing MK and the Travel Channel - unfortunately they have since yesterday been encrypted again. I only have the compact service, so it was nice to have something else to watch other than reruns and soccer :)
