Wonderful,

Today I decide to work from home and have a Monday deadline of a multimedia flash presentation and absolutely require internet connectivity for research/email etc.

And guess what happens - after 1 day of a reasonable connection (with 4 days prior to that of 56k modem speeds) I find myself surfing on what can only be described as 14.4k modem speeds (or less)

In fact, hitting New Topic took 25 seconds to load this page and while I'm typing this I've been disconnected twice.

IOW, totally FUUCKIING IMPOSSIBLE TO USE THIS PIECE OF CRAP MYWIRELESS !

After one positive experience from Sentech, I'm now firmly back in the "You are rubbish, Sentech" camp.

God, I wish I'd never signed up for this sh1tty service...

Personally, I'd phone back and insist on an additional ticket ANYWAY. Make sure you get his surname as well as his shift time for today. Then, on monday phone back, speak to his manager and get the BS answeres out of their lists....

Seems to work 4 me ;-)

I had to go into work = waste of time and petrol.
Phoned tech support, told them how bad I think the service is, not that it matters.
Got the guy to admit there's problems at Sentech - no **** sherlock.
I'm now back up to 56k modem speeds, so at least I can surf and email.

So how many months has this been going on now ?
3 months ?
How long does it take them to sort this out ?

I've had some great months with this service, but now the bad is starting to weigh in - I reckon I'm sitting close to 50% bad connectivity now, which is unacceptable for any ISP.

Time to look for a laywer who can get me out of this sucky contract ... suddenly Telkom don't look so bad [:0]

Even I have really bad speeds today, and usually I am the only person here with decent speeds. Not just downloads, but basic surfing is crawling along. Something is definitely extra wrong today.

Phoning Smith currently seems a waste of time. Even for "other" sentech business - he simply does not respond to messages left - since he never answers.

Having met the man before I truly thought the guy would be on the up and up ... oh well - actions speak louder than words these days at Sentech ... and NO action is sort of the standard - except for them giving their lawyers a call....

Sad ... sad ... sad
