N73 cover paint problems

I have a vodafone branded N73 (from Vodacom) and the stupid branded silver cover started to look really nasty with the paint coming off.

I have taken good care of it (no dropping, no keys with it in my pockets etc), but the paint started to chip after 3-4 months. The slightly raised edge around the screen has become completely white (colour of the plastic underneath the silver paint).

Any one has similar problems?

yep. looked into that, but it seems to be a rare item in SA. There are quite a few on ebay, but most of the suppliers are reluctant to ship to SA.

Same here.Pale n73,rather humiliating as people think i'm careless.Nokia seems to be doing an experiment with cheap plastic covers and coating thats as bad!I have replaced mine with generic covers that last about 3-4 months
then they shed their colours. My n73 is the silver version,i've boutght the black n73 music ed which does not shed its skin!
