Bit of a double sided statement. I would think that a crap phone has crap/disrupted software. But anyhow... that is what was told to me by someone i know who works for VC and followed it up by emailing VC themselves and got the exact same answer.
I find that SE gives me more problems with the internet settings than ure run of the mill Nokia. theyre good as jukeboxes but the Nokia N91 has nipped them in the bud there too now.
I think the n95 will be ruling this forum for a while to come.
I think Piesang has found his Mini-Me![]()
The N95 is in a class of its own. Untouchable.
And the reason is because its not just a phone. Its a multimedia computer without a CD-Rom.![]()
Im an opinionated individual myself, but i do also go through phones like my uncle goes through cars![]()
Ive been around the block in this regard and i know what im talking about![]()
See each handset has its niche in the market, motorola focuses on how flat they can make a phone but before that they were releasing their m series( 2002/3) and it looked like they were one of the most realistic gprs phones windows like.Samsung introduced the small trendy slide phones. Nokia has its superior quality carl ziess optics that it focuses on, the imates are mans best friend when it comes to a handheld computor, the SE gave lovely sound quality, and finally the lg is coming to bat with its own wikky wild dj turntable phone![]()
I just feel that if SE dont pull up their socks and come up with something that'll blow us away real soon theyre gonna have a tougher time in future.
Opinionated- leave it, dont leave it![]()
I think acidrain means problems with the original software on the phone.I guess that's what happens when they play around with the software.
Stick with the original software and suppliers updates and your safe.![]()
You're lucky, I have a 3220 in which the original firmware was broken; you couldn't access the internet from within applications, so no Opera Mini, no mxit, etc, etc. I took the phone in to the Exactmobile for a flash upgrade under warranty, and they swapped the almost brand new rubber parts of the phone with someone else's old worn parts. To top it off, after eventually ordering replacement parts, the manageress of the store charged them to the poor dude who booked in the phone because he wrote "perfect condition" on the form when I booked it in, implying I lied about the condition of the parts. So far Nokia N95 have no problems. I won't either. Never had a problem with any Nokia before.![]()

Excuse the pun!Nokia has its superior quality carl ziess optics that it focuses on
Errr no Voda N80 had Vlive software.
Internet on a SE is the best!!! Theres no doubt about that even Nokio fans agree.
Ye we all just waiting to see what "Sofia" will bring to the table...
SE have always had the best camera on the market!! Carl Zeis has been proven everytime to be a gimmick in Nokio phones.... and until SE makes a 5MP cam I still say CZ is a gimmick!!!
SE have the best walkman players and cameras, but I agree they need to pull up their socks quick!!!!!
My analogy is that since Nokio merged with Sanyo SE is just testing the waters.
You haven't seen the internet on the N95 yet. Put it in landscape mode and off you go.
True, im judging from the E61, N73 etc...
Is the internet really bad on the E61? I thought it would be nice because of the big screen.
Lol the size of the screen doesnt make good interent browsing, its to slow, navigating is dodgy but the worst thing ever is the reloading of the previous page you visited, it uses more data and is slower, on a SE upto 10 previous pages are saved and doesnt need reloading.
I have a couple of Wapsite that I frequently update, would love to do it on the E61 but its to frustrating.
I have two words for you: Opera Mini.Lol the size of the screen doesnt make good interent browsing, its to slow, navigating is dodgy but the worst thing ever is the reloading of the previous page you visited, it uses more data and is slower, on a SE upto 10 previous pages are saved and doesnt need reloading.
