Hi All
I normally set my alarm at night and then switch the phone off so as to not get any calls. Well one morning the alarm didn't go off and I discovered I had to set the date and time each time the phone is switched off and on again.
I suspected the "little battery" that keeps the date and time was buggered so I took it to MTN (Canal Walk) today. They told me it was a Symbian phone so it didn't have one of those "batteries" and that the phone is "like a pc" in that it has to "boot up" every time. Huh I thought...
Then I called Nokia and they referred me to one of their repair centres who told me they would do a software upgrade. Well I did the software upgrade (to V20) over the net and the problem still exists. Every time I switch the phone off, it resets the date and time and I have to set it when the phone is switched on again.
This is so frustrating which means I'll have to keep it on all the time?
Any ideas guys? I've also posted on the Nokia forum and will see what I get.
Tia
