N95 GPS Problems

My friends n95 gps satilite does not pick up. whats could be the problem?

it use to work and it use to take loong to pick up gps satilte now it doesnt pick up at all (using the standard n95 gps software)

Just go outside, open the slide, go to tools, run GPS Data, click on positioning then options and Satellite Status. Wait a while. If it shows bars then it found satellites, if the bars go black (3 or more) you have a GPS lock.

Try it out.

Please check under settings that under network is turned to never as usually it try to locate a network first i find that it slows the gps down.

My gps only works in my room. very wierd. and the satellite bars are about 5 but not one goes black. possible solution anyone?

How long do you wait for the bars to go black before you exit the maps application?
