I am using that headset yo get with the N95, to hook it up to my car radio, so I can play the music off the phone, and use it to answer calls. with the controller part on the passenger seat, it works perfectly:D But then, as in all problems posted, it USED :mad:to work very nicely. It just stopped working, we each have an N95, and the headsets stopped working on both, I can listen to music, but the controller is not working, thus, no "car-kit" only BT for me now. Anyone else have or had that problem ? if it is broken (both at the same time ???) is that covered by the same warranty as the phone itself? I am assuming it is.

Dont think i understand how you managed to use the headset to connect to your car radio?
The fact that two headsets don't work with your car radio, might mean you car radio no longer works.

My radio has an extra set of audio inputs at the rear, and I used RCA to 3.5mm headphone jack converter, basically just really big headphones. The headset you got with the N95 has the cable with media controller (which has mic and answer, play, pause, rew, ffw, and volume) and into that you could connect earphones, so my problem is that I can hear the music, but the controller part is not working, this is on both controllers, on both phones. if one controller was not working, I would understand, or if both controllers did not work in one phone, it was also obvious, but not one of the controllers in either of the phones, I don't know if I changed some setting, of if something (Virus maybe ) did it....

Aha, i get you now:)
Okay, i guess then the controllers are broken, which is not great. I hope the controllers are covered by the warranty then. Please let us know if you find out.

Send it in.
Unfortunately the N95 seems to be a bit of a bum device. I have no less than 3 good mates who all got one at the same time, bragged for a week or two then the tears started.
3 devices, all stuffed, all different issues, all totally sucky.
I'm no statistician but it seems pretty conclusive to me.
