Hi there ,

i just wanted to know if i need to change any settings on the Nokia N95 to enable HSDPA using MTN.
I have checked my 3G and HSDPA coverage at street level on the mtn site(seems to have 100% coverage), however whenever i connect using the PC Suite all i get is a 3G transfer rate of abt 280 - 340Kbs. I'm sure theres a way to get the full speed of HSDPA so i was wondering if anyone knew how.

BTW im in Pinetown, Durban

Thanks

Is your phone's "High speed packet access" enabled?

Go to Settings, Connection, Packet Data.:D

I doubt youdd be getting 340kbs speeds on 3G, so I guess you are getting weak HSDPA speeds.

Ok, sorry about this. Only got a chance to do it today.

The highest download speed I got in Parow was 1281kb/s (1.3mb/s).
The highest download speed I got in Brackenfell was 840kb/s.

There are times where I get between 300kb/s and 600kb/s.

I'm happy with the results. If I could get a constant 1.3mb/s I will definately get myself the MTN 2GB bundles.
