Its sad .... Condolences to the family, a life changing event can just happen in a second. Live life only to die for a cell-phone in the middle of the night on the side of road. God have mercy

Tragic
Tighten border security and our crime rate will be halved.

Condolences to family.

RIP

Edited:
We used to have tight border security, then the majority voted ANC. Now we have expensive fences erected and cadres skimming 17million. So tell us, who exactly did you vote for? :sneaky:

So? How does that assist with current challenges?

How is my vote relevant to the discussion?

The reality is, unfortunately, that those in power generally turn a blind eye to this kind of crime, unless of course, a politician's daughter is found dead somewhere.

Very sad.

Tragic indeed. :(

I dont think border control is the only factor either. If anything the xenophobic violence we are seeing is partly the fact that we allow so many migrants into the country and partly because people have no faith in our legal justice system.

The fact is that our justice system is broken.
The internet is littered with examples of this

The SAPS are either not competent or mismanaged - and the courts - thanks to the Criminal Law Amendment Bill passed sometime in 1997, although very nice, humane and democratic, essentially gave the criminals less to fear for the crimes they commit.

In the grander scheme of things - people see the high profile failings - Omar Al Basheer gets to leave without arrest, Zuma gets away with selling SA to the Guptas. The Guptas get away with corruption, Shabir Shaik gets to play golf for his sentence, we are still waiting for those fabled insurrectionists from the July riots and who knows who or when the Zondo commission findings will get courts into action.

As for the crime stats - well we know crime is on the up - SAPS admit that, but remember, those stats only relate to reported crimes -

Again, I don't see too much changing in this regard, anytime soon.

If y'all were in the same room, there will be a lot of mom and kids who will be left without dad's.

The violence in this country is pretty much reflected here as well. Shows that the problem is much bigger than just the government and some foreigners (or whoever one blames for it)

I need a coffee.

We can't just be united in condemning evil, it always has to be political or a pity party.

Goodness! Triggered? Perhaps you should call out your friend first. But predictably, you can't. So, go jump off a cliff for all I care. I'm still going to irritate everyone of you lot. You can't even pretend anymore.
If and when I'm triggered it will be a headshot. Pretend what ? That i'm fedup with all the kak in this country because of the anc who's as useless as a candy coated turd ? Same goes for their supporters.

Yeah, try to calm down, he is right that you are a hypocrite, if you are fed up about crime you don't come here and crap on people's head for no good reason, if you were annoyed that people are off topic or trolling you would have crapped on Ron Swanson's head but you didn't.

If you can't handle the heat you should excuse yourself and go calm down somewhere.

So, how am I responsible for ANC's kak? Why don't you blame ANC or ANC's voters instead?
