Of course it's ineffective. The Streisand Effect is greater than a ban - the sooner decision-makers learn this, the less embarrassed they'll find themselves.

Most of them will be disappointed because it's really not a very good advert anyway.... but nonetheless... Striesand Effect FTW!!! :D

It creates more awareness, as some only read that it was banned and therefore search it on the internet.

They should have let the advert air. By banning the advert they probably created even more awareness/'damage'.

I gotta agree, that is true,

the advert is in fact on the internet (YouTube). I don't know why they wasted their time banning it, we all know nando's likes to make controversial ads.

People mustn't take the ad so seriously. Its just an ad.
