I too am keen, have drives and space. Will run alongside current storage solutions and compare. Using for media storage and big data clusters, all running some form of Linux.

I am very interested to do a review.

Currently using a self built ZFS raid containing 12x WD Red drives. Was looking into moving to a NAS device so I can scale down. Will probably use WD Reds in this as well.

Keen - have a client who is skeptical about a NAS device and wants a server...but not willing to pay either way... Good way to try before you buyfor.

Can't say no to a free NAS. Been using microservers since the N36L and currently have 2 Gen8's and a N54L. Have used a mix of Unraid and Xpenology so the "real thing" would be good to compare.

I would enjoy the opportunity to assist with the review of the NAS devices. I have three 3tb drives I can use. As an alternative I have various 2tb and 1tb drives which i can swap out and record performance.

Thanks

Also keen! got a bunch of HDDs sitting around collecting dust as it's a mission to plug everything in via USB enclosures continuous.

I have a couple of drives laying around and I've been looking for a decent external to hook it up with my Rpi3.
Might as well test this out as well.

There is a great opportunity for someone with an HDD or two lying around and who are keen to review a NAS device.

We need 10 reviewers of for two NAS devices:
  • The Synology DS119j
  • The Synology DS218+
We will send you the Synology DS119j or Synology DS218+ (no HDDs included). What you need to do:
  • Install your own HDD in the device.
  • Test it out.
  • Write a review about your experience and send it to us.
The value to you: You get to keep the Synology DS119j or Synology DS218+.

If you are keen to review this device, let us know in this thread.
Yeah I am keen. I have done reviews before as i have alot of smart gadgets.
