SourceForge's "Community Choice" Project of the Month for March: NAS4Free

For our March "Community Choice" Project of the Month, the community elected NAS4Free, an operating system that can be installed on virtually any hardware platform to share computer data storage over a computer network.

First time I've heard of it, BSD based same as FreeNAS which I'm not a fan of. Anyone using it or is it just the flavour of the month?
