That's beside the point anyway. Engineers building a space craft can't really find a cure for HIV. It's like telling a photographer to stop taking pictures and rather find a cure for HIV As you've pointed out, there are biological researchers at NASA

They are both trial and error.

No matter the calculations/"laws" When you go out to space and hit mars, a lot of variables change. They could go to Mars and bring back another virus and wipe us out...No matter their calculations, gas masks, anti-gravity guns(lol) etc etc.

The only law that exist in this world is **** HAPPENS.
