Just wanted to post this for any other people wanting to deal with Nashua, I read some of the horror stories on service erc. and though I was going to be OK going through reputable Nashua for iBurst. They also offered a better deal on the modem

This was beginning November, despite being promised a modem in a week I was ignored for 5 weeks before being told before Xmas when I was away that the modem was ready.

Then they contacted me to say they got me on the wrong account and were going to debit me double in Jan for the service which I did not have yet. Assured that I would be refunded the monies the next day. did not happen. Still waiting for that modem and what do you know they deducted R2,500 for the modem this month.

No Service, No Modem, No Answers and R3,000 out of pocket.
I have cancelled and blocked my accounts against these idiots. Nashua has a decent reputation in the corporate world, but they are risking a hell of alot to let these pirates run this operation and run their name though the mud.

So my advice is to steer well clear, I'm gone off already to Telkom....still waiting...

Interesting. We're at Nashua Broadband. We chose this option because they already have all the required details (cellphone contracts with them). We haven't had any issues with Nashua thusfar. Took advantage of the same special on the modem in November. However, today a bill came and would you believe it, they deducted the modem's money AGAIN! Woohoo! 1 for the price of 2! But they have sorted us out in the past and (I expect) they will do this time round.
