Nashua Mobile Sale - renew contract or wait?

Does anyone have any sense as to when the Sale of the Nashua Mobile business to MTN and Vodacom will be completed.
I am already overdue for an upgrade and in two minds as to whether i should wait for the deal to conclude or do the renewal with NM?

If i take out a contract with MTN direct and port the number will the "port" fall away eventually? I would prefer to not have to go and do a whole new contract/credit application as I have been a client since it was Nedtel Cellular.

Im also confused with regard to the contracts on offer between MTN and NM. looking to do a Sammy S5 (32/LTE) but don't want to score an own goal.

I say ask for a deal so outrageous, they might just give it to you...

Yes they do. Did an upgrade last month with them.

Hello Bortner, I'm part of NM and as far as I'm concerned, an upgrade is a better deal. If you are going to port your line to "any SP" you are bound to be vetted as a new client whereas if you upgrade, the transaction will go smoothly and when the change happens, you will just be transferred as an existing client.
