How much tax South Africa's biggest tech company pays

Naspers, which owns Media24, Takealot, and a large stake in Prosus, has paid $118.7 million (R2.2 billion) in direct and indirect taxes in South Africa in the last financial year.

Naspers is a global consumer internet group and one of the largest technology investors and operators in the world.

No wonder Gov wants to protect DoosTV - They getting 'cooldrink' money from Napsters.

How many articles have we seen about Takealots massive losses and are yet to make a profit.

I thought they were doing this to dodge the tax.

Temu and SHEIN will have to be taxed the same then.
