Probably yes, and they recently discovered the meaning of the acronym for the connector so it became a symbol of imperial colonialism and they decolonized it.

That aside, for the money they pay you would think they had redundant connection.

No this is a special 10base2 cable from Germany so the whole length of cable will have to be removed ( after a tender process, got to make millions out of this little calamity after all ) and sent to Germany for repairs.
