Pair of pliers and a blow torch. I think we should do like they do in Saudi Arabia, have a public square where such people are stoned and the like.

I agree. What a sick and sad world we live in.

How typical that the pigs where the SPCA wanted to lay a charge tried to persuade them against it.

There is no understanding of the fact that animals experience as much pain, fear and suffering as we do.

People are just sick and only worry about their own. After all, it is "only a dog"

F@#kers!!!

Did you tie him to the back of your car and drag him down the road?

We have 8 and they are certainly not all well-behaved;)

i would never do that but one did impale himself on a wallspike when he tried to jump over the wall to get to the neighbours who had set up a party and there was lots of food, and he is still trying to get over that wall i had to bend the spike so he won't implale himself and i had to raise the wall,he has been impaled 3 times so far and won't learn

Um - you're justifying this?

I have scars on my hands from my previous girlfriends dog snapping at me, I didn't drag it behind my car....

My current girlfriends dog pee's all over the carpets, the other one craps all over them - it's still alive and well spoilt...

If you're justifying the above, you're no better than the guys that do these things.

of couse not, what the guy did is wrong but ppl in the thread are acting like animals are little angels

The 'people' that do these things to animals, deserve to be treated like animals, actually, they deserve less.

Uh no, they aren't .... it's outrage over what a sick bastard did. My 5 are in now way angels, nor do I make them out to be, but I have never and will never do anything to harm them.

Dasher - because people condemn someone putting their dog through that, you assume people don't have dogs...? Bizarre logic there. I fail to see how you can even conjure up such an absurd thought.

I have 5 dogs, all pretty well behaved. I don't let them into the front garden because of the palisade fencing which they can impale themselves on - maybe you should consider doing the same. You can also spray garden repellents on the wall to keep your dog away from it. Do some training at the same time so that the dog associates jumping the wall with being in trouble...

Actually no, because animals are animals, not people or angels. Therefore they act like animals. Anybody who owns a pet knows this. It's like punishing a lion for hunting deer.

Possibly replace the spikes with electric fencing or something less impaling? ;)

I think we are all in agreement that no matter how naughty one's animal is, that dragging it down the road or cutting its head off with a chainsaw is not an acceptable form of punishment.

If an animal cannot be trained by the custodians and still persists with behaviour that is disruptive or unruly, best to call in an Animal Behaviourist to assist. There is always a reason for errant behaviour and it can be trained out of them with a hard work and a LOT of patience.

Er, no they're not. Your comprehension skills are sorely lacking. We're condemning the actions of the twit who did this to his dog, not stating that animals are angels. I find it bizarre that your brain works this way - it is akin to justification, but having dealt with people like you before, you'll never admit it, you have convinced yourself otherwise. At least that's my take on you based on this thread. Please re-take grade 2 comprehension...
