It has some communication ports at the back (USB & Serial RS323), so wondering if it needs to be enabled by software /firmware. Next challenge is to actually find a useful website to download the software or get proper instructions...

If its what i think it is its disabled by the factory you cant enable it (monitoring right)

You might have to change battery type from AGM to LI, and bulk charge voltage to 29.2

That's what worked for me.

Fans being on constantly, although quieter, is normal. I have a 1000W Pure-Sinewave Mecer Inverter trolley with a lead-acid battery I bought in 2013 and it's the same. It's fans are not as loud, but it runs constantly as well and speeds up when it get's hot or the battery charges.

That is exactly my thinking. Disabled by factory. Very stupid in my opinion, because why have the "menu" button then right? Sure, to prevent inexperienced users from changing settings and potentially damaging the unit..., but I still don't like that. What can we do.

In any case, I am sure one can somehow get to it. Maybe via the USB /serial via firmware. Just to get your hands on that is another story.

That's a recent sale right... pretty sure when I was looking for one last week your price was still R40k+
Probably a dumb question to ask, but I will ask it anyway.

Why are these selling everywhere for R12K now, when in the past they were all R40k+
Even on TakeAlot they were R40k according to their history.

I would like to know as well.
Haven't been able to find anything online. Menu button is disabled.

Can't even mail NavaSolar - Mails are rejected.
I left a message on their website, but it's one of those info forms, so I am doubtful that I will even get a response.

Yes cause i never got an update with the clearance price so for saftey i removed the clearance price for a bit untill i enquired it etc


that was just slow comms from my supplier and my end but we sorted now

yeah so when new units coming in and restock they gonna be 40+ again

They selling fast now

and yes the reason for the price is its clearing stock cuase they were not selling same with Ecoflow etc their prices should be higher but its not selling same with the lithium batteries i use to replace the Gel batteries in the inverters they close to half the price.

If stage 6 kicks in again and stock is replenished i tell you now that costs will go up again

No that was according to my supplier if im remembering the conversation correctly.

How so

Ecoflow Delta pro which is 3600Wh was between R55-60k originally. Yet these for 3000W this machine Ti-3052 is 5120Wh yet cheaper.
Yes two different machines same results minus the UPS part (even though Delta pro has a UPS function its still a EPS).

Depends how you as the consumer look at it.

Unless your statement is suggesting local stores are a rip off in general

Cant say i can compare this to a EU countries pricing (cant compare to US as they not the same spec) but also consider this the cost of shipping to South africa is quiet high especially due to the weights of these things then there is import tax etc

Cars are a rip off in South Africa yet they sell cars no problems.
