Navasolar Trolley Inverters

I feel I'm probably coming across a little strong, but there is no need to derail the thread with posts about lack of support. So this probably don't need to be dragged out anymore.

Perhaps someone else figures something out and will let us know :p
Look its good value for money from a power output and battery capacity point of view. I just don't believe it needs to run so loud on charge. Seriously considering opening it and replacing the fans with Noctua's.

Also I don't think you are derailing. Buyers need to know about the noise and the lack of support. Yes I can live with it but can everyone? Even in the spare room I can hear it charging if I don't shut the door

When it is charging with zero load it is loud. When it is not charging (loadshedding) it is quiet whether its under load or not

To me thats normal.
Even the 2kva Mecer lithium trolley was like that when i tested a clients one 2 years ago. Same goes with the other inverters ive tested or changed batteries on. Do i know the Db readings no never bothered measuring it was not a customer complaint before.

Older models of NV might not of been the case with users experiencing differences.

As for lack of support no if its faulty it will be repaired within it's 2 Year warranty. Noise wise will be check once we have the info from a client such as Load % vs Recharging. Cause if no load or recharging and its loud can indicate a miss calculation and it THINKS its recharging (cant say ive heard this in NV brand but know other brands to do that when the BMS needs a reset)

Should you open the unit up to change a fan be warned you will void the warranty completely.
"Should it be noticeable that there was tampering with the machine)..wink wink nudge nudge.

The way im reading it from some people your recharge is high compared to your output (some people).

You are missing the point seemingly deliberately.

They are noisy with NO load. They are noisy all the time, under all conditions.

And you should know that the R25-40k is the normal retail price, you're just selling them at a loss now (right?)

It's for the exact same device.

As a seller/supplier, I'd have thought you'd be able to provide more insight than point to their website.

I suppose it is what is is.
No i am not

yes i know the regular price vs promo clearing price and yes i know its the same device i sell these units sold a lot in this month.

I know full well a SKU from a SKU.
and poiting to NV site was merly to help anyone if they ever read these where they can go etc.

If you bought from Takealot / Me / others thats just a shortcut eitherway so you the consumer can go directly to the distributor for support without any delays. Personally i prefer going through me so i know about all the little common issues should it be the case, that way i can like some products decide do i take it off or do keep it on trust me repairs are annoying and costly we wouldnt want to sell something we going to spend money on getting repaired replaced after every sale.

and look i tried to help but its become an argument now. Not something i came here to do i actually did want to help people out i have no problem helping people out from units they did not buy by me at all, after all if i can win someone over to my end bonus but overall people need help i have/had spare time here i was.

I recently bought a NV-TI-3052 inverter, and going through the manual, I see there is a remote monitoring capability. Has anyone been able to successfully set this up?
Attaching image for reference.
@Tech Guy SA , do you have any insights on setting up remote monitoring for the NV-TI-3052 trolley?

Yes you totally are dodging the problem. You asked a technician, who came back with a wishy washy response, also omitting the most important issue: why we cannot access the settings menu.

How would you help people out who buy from you, when asked about this? Surely this is not confidential information?

Basically, it is what it is?

These units work very well, there's no denying that.

It just annoys me how obvious questions are dodged.

None unfortunately the coms port is locked for Technicians only should it need to be checked i.e faulty (they will have the tool and software to see) Same with Firmware updates on Kool energy, Mecer trolley lithium inverters only technicians have that tool to do those updates unlike portable power stations where its using the smart phone app to do it (easier for end user but subject to issues like bugs from the firmware and cant roll back and sometimes lack of testing (my experience)

Not dodged at all ive responded better than the ANC in parliament.
I stated many times if its charging and its loud its most likley due to the amount of watts and amps being pulled and need to keep the unit cool, also the fans the smaller the fan the louder it is yes its annoying yes a large fan would solve this convo. the higher the load the louder it will get. Much like a PC's GPU the higher the load the more heat the more that Fan has to work some are quieter than others some not (stares at my RX 6700XT louder than the TV's volume on FF16 unless you tune it).

Sadly unlike a PC you dont have this option as it is a plug n play item unlike computers (some) that may or may not have fan control which isnt wise putting those in quiet mode anyway.

Have you asked these questions to the store you bought it from? What answer did they supply you with?

Fully agreed, this is not an apple device why can't we access or even know what is in the menu
Apple doesnt make inverters if they did prob cost a fortune more.

Apples menu is also not going to let you fiddle with the band frequency or other things only what you need to be able to do and use. Cant even OC a phone for the much reason it would break it by user error this is partly why menus are limited or non existence on inverters

I dont make the rules im just the guy replying the answers. If someone smart enough managed to unlock these units then go for it just know its gonna void the warranty if noticed when you do claim or if..

@All i dont know what you guys want me to say just say it cause it sounds like you want to modify the fans to be quiet which may give you a issue in the long run.

i just replaced batteries in a MP-T1000S just draining it a bit before i set it to recharge its a 1kva so not big but ill record the db for you tonight when its dead quiet and then ill pull 600W from it later and then lower and can see the difference

is the T1000S loud not really but i am hoping to prove my point and with Ecoflow which is going to be easier since i can control everything on that unit including charging speeds.

Have this one , bought it on takealot last month used it a few times but I left it off for 2 weeks now

Started to charge it up today but noticed the orange LED is not flashing or lighting up and only the green LED lights up , it also beeped when I turned on the mains for 5 seconds but stopped beeping

It does show the battery icon filling up and there’s voltage and amps on the battery display 26.2v and 30a

Is it charging or is the led just faulty the fans are on and there is zero load on it

Actually it started blinking (orange light ) just is the fastest charging rate only 30 amps takes quite long to charge

My man, you're sounding like how Google is there days. Some semi relevant results to searches, but nothing quite spot on.

What was the battery % when it left it off and off as in battery switched off (*breaker switch) if you can recall.

Depends on how depleted the battery got that it may take a while that and the size of the battery. Cant say ive asked in terms of charge times. check how it goes tonight and then test it out.
I dont have an exact answser on this one but can find out for you send me a whatsapp when you can.

Yeah don't bother. Just say you don't know why these units are doing that, and your tech also doesn't.
Why would i say i dont when i do know and trying to explain it to you but like i said before what ever i say you will just question it.
I have a good understanding on how things work thank you very much, I might not know all the brands on the spot and if i dont i find out from the source ive basically repeated what technicians have stated in the passed and pressent (more like translated it) which was in this case many times.

last 3-4 years dealing with inverters and power stations ive learned a lot on these and all ive stated was my shared knowledge.
IF something is locked out there is a reason if you fail to understand this after i have repeatedly stated why then cant help you, if you failed to understand my terminology regarding why a fan blows for x and y reasons then maybe thats on me but i doubt i can ever so make it simpler.

Last time i comment on your comments as you are being bullish and spammer on this thread.
If you need help go to the power forums there some great peeps that side that can assist you if that is any consolation.

Here is also a good reads

As with all these

Assuming you referring to the word "these" days.
Googles indexing bit more broad so your question has to be less vague according to google that and what gemini has taken over that partly (with me at least) even though can be wrong at times.(not always)

Heat needs to be cooled down otherwise damage on components over time hence fan goes on fan not cooling enough fan sucks more more sucks more noise more noise more erritation more erritation more what ever else.

Car make vroom,, car get hot fan goes on,,, car on for long hot day car need cool or gasket blows (or what ever else), fan goes vroom with car.
PC gets hot fan goes WHEEE PC gets cool CPU happy GPU happy.
Coffee hot you blow to cool down not burn hands you shouldnt.

Is that better?

I think it was on one or two bars of battery but all is good now, generally the other model with a carrying handle always flashed orange even from dead so was wondering

Charging times on my 5.12kw takes around 8 hours

havent done the maths but may sound right it is quiet large battery capcity wise.

if you storing it do refer to the manual *(should state)
But charge it full store it 2-3 months later deplete it according to the manual and recharge it up again then store.

to keep the battery healthy and active. usually with EPS its drain to 30% but i dont think its the case with trolleys

Personally loving these responses xD

The devices make fans go vroom no matter what.
The menu is locked, not even the reseller can access them.

If someone finds a way, please share, but it seems the reseller is not the one to provide the answers and the factory/supplier has not even provided them the information.

Thank you

Someone understands

I tested that T100s.... man my PC was louder than that thing so bad example quiet on charge quite in use except when its plugged in while off goes Vroom for a few seconds. could be cause night time is not so hot but that one is quiet.

also i think Stephan Maritz cursed me or something as i took the plug off i touched the earth pin and boy my hand felt that ahahah (been shocked before from a wall fun times)

Jokes aside. no i didnt make a video ill make a blog about it later in the week when i get a chance.

OK guys I need nothing fancy. Just need the ONT, router, small TV, smartphone and laptop running.

I am perturbed by the fan mentions of fan noise in the thread as I live in a smallish house but do have a spare room where I can store the unit.

Just want to check, does this model have less of a noise and can it power everything aforementioned. Thinking of pulling the trigger on this:

Add up all the Wattage numbers of the things you want to power.
Does it stay below 1Kw (probably)
If they all use 500W combined, that would give you just shy of 2 hours of power.

Keep this in mind when shopping for a unit.
Not sure what the wattage usages of TV's and Laptops are these days.
