My post clearly states "average American". And why, for everything that's holy, would I be anti-America and still consume their media and use their tech? Yes, I'm not fond of Trump but to accuse me of anti-Americanism is a bit of a stretch.
Where do you dream up the notion that the "average American" thinks Henry Ford
invented the automobile? My sense, after many years in America, is that the average American certainly knows Ford was a pioneer in mass production and new production line techniques. But they also know that other American carmakers antedate Ford.
You're just inventing stuff that makes the "average American" look ignorant and/or stupid.
Because your invented "fact" casts "the average American" in a bad light (you aver they believe something the rest of us know is wrong), one wonders about your motive for inventing this little false "fact" ... so it is not unreasonable to suspect you have a residual anti-American animus, and you're probably not even aware of it - otherwise why invent false "facts" about the "average American" that's a "main issue" for you?
