Nedbank not POPIA complaint

So interesting set of events have happened with Nedbank. They seem to be blissfully unaware of anything related to POPIA.
They will send your ID in the clear over email and happily forward it around internally and to clients. There is no secure portal to upload any sensitive information. Even in my company we had to go through training that explains how we cannot send any client's personal information in the clear to the outside world. They even tried to use dropbox as an alternative without letting the clients know that they data will be leaving the borders of SA, a personal dropbox let me add that, not even one under a corporate MSA. I would have honestly expected better from a Bank, to adhere to regulations especially ones to cyber security.

So I would advise any Nedbank clients to think twice before sending any data to Nedbank or using them.
