So speaking of adapting, would you not agree that the company wanting MY money should fit in/adapt/compromise to meet MY needs? After all, they approached me.
I understand where ur coming from, but unfortunately they dont revolve their service around you or me, its never gonna happen. And to be honest, i really think this has been blown out of proportion, so a cold call to you was clumsy and useless. so what? I understand if you went in to see a broker or someone dealing with your homelone who had no clue what they were doing, then get upset....but its just a call centre person being paid minimum wage.
Should they have better ppl doing it? sure! Should they have training for these ppl? definitely...will you get very upset when charges go up to cater for better staff? without a doubt...
I posted it and had no-one responded, would have left it at that. Not my fault if everyone wants to give their 2 cents.
People chose to concentrate on the less important aspect of my post, INSTEAD of the crucial bit about Nedbank breaking the law, i.e. offering unsolicited credit.
As far as your comment on charges being used for training - no bank, or for that matter, no company will ever tell you exactly how they use your money. If they really used it for training, you will not hear a peep out of me.
i used my 1000th post on this thread, by default my point is valid and unquestionable.
The thread seemed to be in the direction of customer service, and ur posts certainly indicated that? I agree on the fact we will never know how the money is being used, but if they told you they were using some of your money to train someone/ pay for someone better to make cold calls to their clients, i am pretty sure ppl would be less than amused.

Of course.
I 'll keep my 8 000th post for a special occasion.
Post counts are totally irrelavant, I don't even check to see how many posts I have. It does not make me a better person, what should count are the contents of my posts not my postcount. God when will everyone get over the whole post count thing.
I think those whole thread started out by someone getting upset about the name being mispronounced. It comes across as very silly or even snobbish that someone should get offended by that.
I often get the impression that customer services representatives spend their spare time writing Nigerian 419 emails.
"I be Sam. You be have account. Must mek it bigger for credit. Okee so make tell me all the details for mek it beega then we mek it beega for the money"
