Hope anyone has some advise about what else I can do, as it seems Vodacom will do nothing from there end.
Since Feb, after 18:00 every day my 100 Mbps Vodacom fiber line runs at between 10 and 55 Mbps.
I have called about this, and logged a service call 3 times over the last months now, and every time it's the same story - they create a service ticket, and for two weeks the status is pending and then it's closed - nothing has been done.
Had one call after 4 weeks, to ask if the issue is sorted, I said no, she said it's unacceptable, and guess what - two days later the ticket was closed as resolved - current speed 9.27 Mbps.
See speed tests attached:
This is done while plugged into LAN with now other connections active, and selecting the closest Vodacom Server using speedtest.net as per attached image.
This is becoming incredibly frustrating as Vodacom is the only Fibre provider in our area, and we had to sign a year contract. At this speeds and price it's better for me to go back to a 40Mbps ADSL line, but can't cancel the Vodacom contract even though they not providing even half of what I'm paying for.
