Calling network admin gurus... puhleez. Before I pull my hair out.
Up until now, I have been running my home network without issue.
Working configuration...
Asus RT-N66U as gateway/router. IP: 192.168.1.1, Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Running customer firmware Shibby's TomatoUSB.
I used to had an ADSL modem connected to the WAN port of the Asus, with the modem in bridge mode, and the Asus using PPPoE to connect. Hunky dory.
Then I switch to RAIN. RAIN device is configured as 192.168.8.1 (cannot set subnet on the device). My Asus now has WAN set as static with an IP of 192.168.8.2. Again, all is great. Have internet access throughout the house.
Now my problem sets in. I am wanting to reconfigure LAN 1 as WAN 2, and stick in my B315 modem hooked up to the Telkom network. IP address of this modem is 192.168.10.1.
I configure a VLAN on the ASUS, and map (correct term?) LAN 1 to WAN 2. Asus reboots and is good to go.
I then go configure the connections. I change the Asus to multi-wan, WAN 1 I leave as was (RAIN), and setup WAN 2 with similar settings to WAN 1, except the static IP is 192.168.10.2. The weighting is also set to 0 (Failover) with WAN 1 being 10.
As soon as I hit Apply, the net dies. No access to anything. If I change back to single WAN (but leave VLAN etc... all setup), I get the RAIN network back again.
Can anyone assist me with setting this up and what further information do you require? Assist muchly appreciated.
VLAN Config
Using only WAN and RAIN. Have internet.
Config with 2 WAN. RAIN on WAN 1 and Telkom LTE on WAN 2. Internet dies.
Routing table with MultiWan. Metric all zero, and assigned auto my Tomato.
