Need to get quote for physical damage to my car! CPT northern suburbs

So long story short woman scratched my car with her car and drove away.

I have emailed santam they said I must get a quote for the damage done to my car. Also need a case number from the police.

Where about can I get this done in CPT northern suburbs? Must be open during the weekend.

My car is a white atos 2008 model.

Insurance provider : Santam
I have full comprehensive insurance.

The damage is just paint damage on the side and on the back bumper.

I have never claimed insurance before ,so not sure how it works

Normally your insurance provider will tell you where to take your car for an assessment. They have a list of preferred panel beaters they use.

Yeah just get the instructions from your insurance, they will tell you what you need to do.

Generally, case number, quote, submit to insurance, insurance approves, car goes in gets repaired, then for the rest of your life your insurance company will keep raising premiums because you claimed.

Out of curiosity is there any other way to damage a car other than physically, can you actually emotionally damage a car

Then you only have to take it to the once place, they write up the damage and send it out for quotes to multiple places for you. You can also tell them where you want quotes from. Go to one that is approved by Hyundai, that way you know it should be OK. I've had good experience with Station Motors in Stikland, also hear CMC is good. Just my car got hurt.

She reversed out of the parking spot next to me. I was not in my car while this happened.

I have to admit, Santam is always so easy to deal with and very helpful, they will do everything for you.

Last time my geyser burst I just called them, they arranged everything and the plummer was there with a replacement within 2 hours, this was on a Saturday morning 9am when I called them.

Please let us know how your situation turns out dealing with Santam.

Then I just take it to the drive in centre and they will sort me out.

Cool we also use a broker for Santam and we never had problems
