Hi i am currently with iBurst and their service is terrible, i have a 40GB capped wireless product with them and i am lucky to download at 20KBps or even try play any game online without horrific lag, my mom uses this interent for her company and is always complaining about the speed and wishes to get something like 4mbps, could anyone advise me on the product that will give such speeds and allow about 50GB+ a month as i wish to use streaming services as well. The budget that i have been given is about R1000+-

Kind Regards

Silly question, you thought about using an external antenna? Noticed can make massive improvement to iCursed.

Hi there :)

You could go with the following:

http://yfi.co.za/products-8_satelliteinstallationsvsat

http://www.xdsl.co.za/

http://www.snowball.co.za/wireless-internet-home-packages

http://www.snowball.co.za/uncapped-wireless-internet-home

In my opinion Wireless Internet access is kack. But what can you do Telkom also have their fingers up their @ss And do nothing in areas where there is a demand for internet access. :/

Id recommend snowball.co.za they the cheapest it looks like. :)

Hi thanks for the advice, and does snowball guarantee their speeds ? My mom runs an accounting office from here and just sars and all makes missions for her when it comes to speed..

With wireless internet there can never be a guarantee on speed as it is affected by weather and interferences etc... A few of my friends use snowball and they say its brilliant but the only downfall is P2P. But most wireless companies don't tolerate it as it slows down the network.
