Right.

So.

We are moving premises just down the road. Down the road is on a new exchange though so it seems like we cannot take our numbers with us. Looking at porting the numbers to 3 x NeoFlex Voice services and then enabling hunting between the lot. Phoned up Neotel a few times today and every time it was confirmed (by Ivan the last time) that this is 100% possible.

Put in a quote request, they phone me, I lay down my needs...

Anyone have multiple NeoFlex Voice lines (with the SS10c device) and using hunting successfully?

Hi Id13,

From the Neotel web - http://www.neotel.co.za/wps/portal/neotel/Home/Voice/NeoFlexVoice -

SS10C Fixed Wireless Voice Terminal Device Specifications

Dimensions: 140mm x 90mm x 26mm
Weight: 855g
Power requirements: 12 V 500 mA External PSU
RJ11 PABX Connector
Multi-line hunting capability
LCR solution via analogue line set-up

If they advertise, they must deliver.

Maybe not possible anymore, maybe you should/could have ported before you moved, then you would not be in this predicament!

Regards

No predicament - we have not moved yet.

In any case. I phoned around and contacted some of the folk using the neotel network in the area - did not exactly get glowing reviews. Was advised by more than one person to rather look for another solution.

In the end the solution for our problem was rather cheap: Telkom Single Number.
